After working together for several years, Robert Weygant and Stephen Faust decided to pool their efforts in order to provide the industry with innovative Building Information Modeling solutions for real world workflow problems.

“Skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.

– Wayne Gretzky

Robert’s ideas, insight and real-world experience coupled with Stephen’s programming and architecture expertise brought them together to develop what they view as a “Jobs-Woz” type of partnership. Robert pushes his BIM ideas to their bleeding edge and Steve makes them happen. Innovation does not occur by rejiggering an old idea, rather looking towards the future to find where you believe it should be. This is how SPECtrumBIM, LLC strives to provide the world with better products and is Rethinking Content.

I have been working with Steve on programming projects for over a year now, and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Aside from simply generating a high quality product, Steve’s background in design, Revit, and the industry makes working with him a collaboration. I don’t feel lost simply trying to explain “it needs to do this” to a programmer who doesn’t know the work I do; as soon as I start talking about what is needed, Steve understands and offers great feedback and ideas and brings excellent insight to what I need to accomplish and how to accomplish it.
